Throughout his career, DiCroce held pivotal roles in major energy and environmental companies. He served as President and CEO of Veolia North America, overseeing energy, water, and waste operations. Prior to that, he was President and COO of NSTAR Electric and Gas Company’s unregulated subsidiaries, which included district energy and telecommunication businesses in the greater Boston area. His journey began at General Electric’s Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory, where he was certified as a nuclear power engineer within the U.S. Naval Nuclear Propulsion program. He later held operational, managerial, and executive positions within Boston Edison and Entergy Corporation.

In 2019, DiCroce joined Vicinity Energy, which was formed following the acquisition of Veolia North America’s district energy assets by Antin Infrastructure Partners . Under his leadership, Vicinity Energy grew to become the largest district energy provider in the U.S., operating 19 systems in 12 cities and supporting over 250 million square feet of building space . The company’s commitment to sustainability was evident through initiatives like the development of eSteam™, a carbon-free steam solution aimed at decarbonizing urban infrastructure .​
